If you really think about it, Hell and Heaven are inventions of barbaric times, where science wasn't much of a thing. Hell and Heaven could be equated to something of a fabricated punishment system (Like Laws and Jail) to keep people from raping, pillaging, and killing others, It worked in a sense. Those that did good were rewarded with Heaven and those that did bad were rewarded with hell, But of course later on people started taking advantage of this Hell and Heaven concept - molding it into reality rather then a metaphorical place, again this worked well since nobody could really tell you what happens after death and those that used this Hell and Heaven formed religion… and the money started coming in, In the end Hell and Heaven are Fabricated places to keep people In line, to follow the rules of the church or what have you, But now? Science and Modern Government takes the place of superstitions of religion the hell and heaven punishment model is no longer needed. And something about Hell just reeks in human design, Fire and Brimstones? I mean how cliché can you get?

No, the idea of there being a 'hell' after this is a fictional concept. I guess you could say that this life is hell as there is unlimited potential for suffering. When we die, we cease to exist and that is it for us, we are gone. Death is just like how before we were born where time passed and yet we were not aware of anything. To me, non existence is true peace.

I just don't know if hell is real. Nobody can prove either way. I think I'll go to hell if it is real. I also struggle with how a loving god could send his children to eternal pain of hell.

There's no hell. The only hello to be experienced is during lifetime. After death comes nothing, at best a return to nature where all come from. Which is beautifully comforting thought to me.

I am uncertain if an afterlife exists, it would be cool to come back as a cow (everyone seems to like cows)... If a hell does exist, one should not deserve further suffering to escape their own, in my opinion anyways...

plus, i don't think the media's portrayal of hell is true. you know, the usual hellfire and demons torturing you. i think it's more of a state of mind and the more we suffer, the more we enter it. even if there is an actual hell in the afterlife, i'd take it because i know damn well that it's better than being in here, feeling empty and numb.

Hell and purgatory we're made up by the Catholics during the first council of Nicea. The bibles we know today are heavily edited by the same council. All scripture not fitting their agenda was removed but can be found in apocryphal scripture. They put it in place for control, power and monetary gain. Making themselves the middle man that can forgive your sins on behalf of God if you pay up.
