Read in a post that tachycardia kicks in due to low oxygen. Checked the Internet and it verifies.

embolism is typically the result of a migrating deep vein thrombus that has occluded a vessel in the lung vasculature. This disorder results in an increase in alveolar dead space (region not participating in gaseous exchange), hypoxaemia (low oxygen concentration in the blood) and hyperventilation (> 22 breaths per minute). The associated tachycardia is an attempt to perfuse viable lung tissue in order to counteract the low oxygen concentration and impending hypoxia.

I'm really afraid of my own heart beats and can't tolerate them. The worst I had was 180 bpm after ingesting a brownie from a couple. I really freak out on high heart rate. How can I deal with this? 🤔

Tachycardia(which is treated with beta blockers like Metropolol Tartrate) didn't bother me in my tests with the EEBD Hood, its secondary, I was looking at my Oxygen Level instead, I think I saw my heart rate go to 120--Of course you're going to have a fast pulse with Nitrogen, the heart doesn't like it when the O2 levels drop, but most likely you'll be unconcious before your heart rate really starts to bother you

How should I approach the eebd hood? Fill it with nitrogen and then put on after I've emptied my lungs of oxygen to thus take a deep breath into the hood? Will this minimize the chance I'll feel the tachycardia? 120 would be fine but anything higher I don't think I'll like it 🤔

What's your resting bpm if you don't mind me asking? Mine is around 69 when I sleep and around 80 during wakefulness. I easily go into the 100s during something stressful. I imagine the stress from SI + the low oxygen will trigger more than 120bpm for me

Can't really do a test, due to my circumstances - unfortunately 😕

My resting bpm is 80, it has gone into the 100's on occasion, cardiologist says i'm fine--Your first paragraph is correct

Oh, man. That sucks! I'm planning to put the hood on while strapping myself (with special knots that close when you pull). 😕

If I've to keep my breath and do all of that shebang I might risk losing consciousness before being able to secure myself. I don't want to fall or anything and risk immobility due to partial transition to the next stage of existence. 😣

WHY IS IT SO HARD TO DIE?! 😤

That's what Vizzy did on the Mega-Thread, he was able to secure himself before he passed out---I myself am not going to bother with securing myself, but I will have a lot of cushions and pillows around, in a corner of the store room, my tubing is 60 inches, so no chance of upsetting the Nitrogen Tank

So what if I put the hood on with oxygen in my lungs so I've time to secure? Will tachycardia be felt worse? I imagine not as it's being triggered at the same rate as if I'd have expelled all the oxygen in my lungs (once I exhale and inhale enough to get to that stage).

And will I pass out in much the same way as if I'd have done the entire shenanigan of letting out the oxygen prior to putting the hood on?

I imagine that would give you a few more seconds to get you secured then
