Nope. It's there until both parties leave the conversation. (Even after that it's probably still saved somewhere)The mods can't even delete chats if you email them. However, when an account is deleted the chat logs disappear from what I have seen, so if you really want to delete a chat log you could delete your account and then start a new account- it's the only way I know of.
Maybe, or I think that adding this software to the site was the easiest way to do chat, but part of that is that the mods don't have access to the chat. EIther way, for people who chose to ctb amd then they deleted their accounts, I can no longer see the chats.The mods have access to reported messages whereever they are. They just see a blurb of the text.
It deletes when both users leave the convo though as others have stated.
