I have steam coal with me. It's mineral. Is it good for burning?

yes, but it's difficult to start and , in my experience burns best when used with lignite or wood. generates a LOT of heat and tends to go out without steady air supply. (I used it for heating for a while). if this is to generate CO, no idea how effective it'll be as I never managed to get a steady glow on them without another type of fuel to keep it burning.
