What I mean is, is SN worth committing to and going through with?

It seems complex to me (Admittingly I'm not good with chemicals and such) but I don't exactly understand how it works, I don't know how fast it acts or if It's comfortable or not to go through it, what I know for sure is It's successful for a lot of people, It's popular on this website and that it has to do something with the oxygen of red blood cells right?

What does it feel like? Is it powdery? Do you drink it or eat it with food?

Is hanging a better option than SN?

Thanks for the post, seems uncomfortable though... oof
Lots of members said it's only painful when you're found and admitted to a hospital because of additional damage they do but overall if planned good and following the protocol you only should feel some small discomfort.

According to the Peaceful Pill Handbook (very useful) it seems to be relatively peaceful.

I imagine heart rate increase can be pretty uncomfortable and startling when you are about to die, it is natural it would increase given the fact that your oxygen levels are slowly going to decrease. The same book advises taking beta blockers and/or benzodiazepine (at a high dose) medication as well as anti nausea medication.

The anti-emetic/nausea: Self explanatory
The beta blockers: Will reduce side effects from the body load such as heart rate
The benzodiazepines: Will reduce side effects like the body load but also perhaps ease anxiety if taken before, if you wanted to mega dose though this is un-advisable because a mega dose will likely cause unconsciousness. A high dose should help in falling unconscious though too so you might want to add a mega dose on top of your SN (dosed at the same time).

Personally I would take a therapeutic dose maybe an hour or two before like people are given before surgery to ease anxiety and provide a more comfortable experience, you should prepare your stuff beforehand though because you don't want to be intoxicated during prep and fuck it up.

I think SN is one of the better choices if you truly wish to die a peaceful death. I would make sure you are somewhere isolated though either your own home with no chance of visitors or a hotel far away from everyone or anyone who might disturb you. This way you have no chance of being saved, being saved might result in lasting brain damage.

There is better alternatives though, like barbiturates, but they are hard to obtain its what vets use to put animals down and countries with pro euthanasia laws prefer.

But you'd need a doctor to prescribe the benzodiazepine and/or beta blocker, which that itself can be inaccessible for some people...
A countertop alternative I can think of is melatonin

It won't substitute benzodiazepines here sorry. you are correct it is hard to acquire but it can be done so through black market means.

I see thanks for your post It's helpful, I kind of understand it better now and the method of it

I wish euthanasia wasn't so hard to do, assisted suicide seems quite easy to do if It was real (Ik it exists in Switzerland but It's expensive as hell and lots of bureaucracy I mean I get the jest of the bureaucracy but the money part It's just business rather than actual real support)

MAiD has been legalized in Canada recently, although it requires two doctors (if I recall correctly) and mental illness is ineligible. However in 2027 mental illness might be eligible, with restrictions.

I've looked up MAiD in Switzerland as well, and depending on the company you go with, it ranged from 18-25k CAD. But I only looked at MAiD because of life insurance (I want it paid to my family, esp my mother who is nearing retirement age), since suicide usually doesn't count as an eligible death for a payout.
