I don't think so, it's way too complex to have arisen by accident. I think it's the purpose of this physical universe to bring forth life, and there's probably plenty of life in other solar systems too. Going through this physical manifestation may be a stage that is necessary for conscious beings to fully comprehend "being".

You could look up cellular automata like Conway's Game of Life. It beautifully showcases the concept of "Emergence" and that will partly answer your question.

I like this interpretation of existence and think that it most certainly should be like that given how things are.

I think there's a high chance that we are just an accident. I don't know what's worse, our existence having meaning or no meaning.

Extreme Pain is much worse than people know

yes . life is just chemical reactions. a human is cells. cells are machines chemical reactions. a human is a machine and chemical reactions.

chemical reactions happened and this abomination called DNA based life evolved from self replicating molecules.

life is the worst horror.

imagine just brain cells but they connect in such a way as to create a self that can suffer unending constant continuous unbearable pain .

this is the kind of pain every brain can generate.

picture a giant steel sheet like a griddle . large fire underneath so it's scalding hot metal hotter than a stove

what would be worth placing your hand flat on 900 degree hot scalding metal .

you'd place it but you would immediately pull back the pain is so great so the hand might be in contact with the red hot metal only a fraction of a second. but the pain would be excruciating even though it was only for a split second.

but what if you agreed and some gang forced you to hold your hand against that scalding hot metal . 10 seconds of that unbearable pain would be unimaginable and not worth any pleasure garbage .

what about the whole skin of the entire body bare against that red hot metal ? what would be worth 10 seconds of that continuous pain? 60 seconds ? 5 minutes? 14 hours ,

to me nothing is worth even 1 second of that pain that is being put on that bed of extremely hot steel .

what about the whole skin of the entire body bare against that red hot metal ? what would be worth 10 seconds of that continuous pain? 60 seconds ? 5 minutes? 14 hours ,
weeks ? months of that constant continuous unbearable pain every second of those months?

a human is a machine. but if you put a computer or car on that sheet these won't suffer. also if a dead animal is put on there won't feel a thing.

a human or animal that is alive would be tortured extremely . that is the difference between life and other things .

what you describe happened to many like Junko Furuta. how many are being tortured now in some basements ?

no one can imagine how bad it would be to be put in the brazen bull for even 1 second or dropped like i described on giant bed of red hot steel the whole bare skin against red hot steel .

and i described this as constant continuing every second for months.

my point is only living conscious sentient humans or animals can suffer constant unbearable pain. rocks, other machines, dead animals can't. that's the only difference i see between life and other machines or rocks.

everything is chemistry and physics, made of the same atoms. but to me that's the only significant difference .

but they have everyone thinking this horror called life is some beautiful gift and mystery that we need to worship and wonder about .

that's what i was thinking.I am sitting here from the comfort of my room typing this. There are an estimated 8 billion humans currently .So I wonder how many of them are held captive in someone's basement for their amusement.Scary thought. No one really knows
