I can only afford to buy one belt. I'm just wondering if it's possible to hang yourself with one belt. Will it be able to support my weight? Will the buckle break if I thrash around?

Wouldn't rope be cheaper (and better) than a belt?
I think it's possible but not a great option because belts don't usually sit right at the neckSimilar threads
