Help Is it possible to delete a thread I started?

I might want to re-edit a thread & repost, how do I delete an old thread? thks

I think you have a few hours from its creation, then its permanently locked

You can edit or delete a thread for 6 hours; after that, you need to request a mod do it for you. Of course it's up to their discretion, but I think they're usually agreeable.

I haven't been able to get my posts deleted after the 6hrs limit even after applying to the mods, so it seems like posts aren't removed unless you outright break the rules

I remember the FAQ saying that mods usually do not mass delete posts/threads.
