Did something happen to the container it came in? If not, leave it as it arrived. If that container/package is damaged, then you can put it in anything that is air tight. Most plastic containers with the locking tabs, like you've shown, will be air tight and will work.

im thinking you should store it in an airtight bag. vacuum sealed would be ideal but i know not everyone has that equipment. i would suggest using a bag and before closing it take out as much air out as possible.
