I was always an atheist but some psychedelic experience changed my views. I wonder if from a Buddhist and Hindu point of view it is bad for karma to help others find sources knowing that they want to take their lives?

Of course it's not bad karma, would it better to leave them suffer until they become desperate enough to jump on a train? Suicide is a matter of personal responsibility especially if you are looking for 100% safe methods. Those who engage in irresponsible self-harm do not look for highly lethal methods and even if they do, they do not carry the plans to the end, as their intention is not to die.
