• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I just thought I would share this funny strip about people trying to offer unhealthy platitudes to people who are going through stuff that they have little to no control over.

Funny

There is truth in this but people who offer ineffective but well-meaning advice are at least attempting to care, and that should count for something- intent matters a lot. An expression of caring still matters, even if the person;s advice is poor because they don't understand the problem.

This is true some of the times, although the complete opposite is correct as well. Majority of instances, these empty platitudes are also simply a "conscience-massage".
