Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Is a tie okay material to hang myself with?

Would it work if i tie a tie into a noose and attach it to a doorknob (partial hanging I suppose). I feel like it would work but I want to be safe. I don't care about pain I just want to go.

Most tie material is fairly strong. I think the issue is more with the partial hanging method. I think you should do some searching here on SaSu and read up on it (Partial) before deciding if that is the method for you. Going into something like this "blind" usually doesn't result in good outcomes. I think there may be a "Megathread" on it.

This was exactly my first failed attempt years ago, and is still my backup (after SN). But how do you ensure the body doesn't slide back up, when it starts to thrash around? That's my biggest fear...

My understanding is that after you go unconscious that your muscles become weak so your legs wouldn't be able to support you to slide back up. I don't think it's thrashing around. I think it's more like convulsions. Anyone reading this please correct me if I'm wrong.
Can I ask what failed in your first attempt?
But as in Worndown's picture, I'm already sat down (not exactly but you get the point), so the legs aren't supporting me (as opposed to say bending the knee while standing). Maybe I'm visualizing this incorrectly, but I feel like with the right (or in our case, wrong) kind of wriggling/thrashing, the body could potentially slide itself back up. I need to do more research on this method, have been too confident with SN.
Being my first attempt, I basically tried a little too hard. Had a pill cocktail of muscle relaxants and zolpidem before the attempt, trying to keep SI down. Also had a large garbage bag over the head (running under the slipknot), so if the attempt fails I still die of suffocation. I managed to get the initial woozy feeling, but then maybe the knot moved or something, because instead of getting unconscious I just got horrible, vivid hallucinations and then blacked out. Woke up puking my guts out and that was it. Learnt the lesson that for partial you need to be in control of your senses.

Hmm. I might be using the wrong terminology here but the point is it's still uncontrolled jerky body movements.

No you didn't use the wrong terminology. The word thrashing around just put bad images in my head and scared me so I tried to make it sound better using the word convulsions. Both are horrible thoughts.
