Oh hell yes. I've watched the series through at least five times (often while I'm doing other stuff). Kate the the Immortal both have it pretty bad. Really I feel like most of the heroes in the show have some kind of shitty life. Which I think does make it more commendable that they try to make the world better anyway.
And yes, that episode with the immortal and invincible was rough. The immortal has been through some shit and really just wants to be done.
