• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Fascinating, especially the part where the gut bacteria "partying" and spread everywhere.

But it makes me more uncomfortable.

And this one makes me think..

Some of Your Body Parts Keep Living. "All the cells don't die immediately, and there is a window that allows for you to be resuscitated and remain intact" you can donate tissues such as your corneas, skin, bone marrow, and even heart valves even 15 hours after your last breath.

I have a history in medicine, so a lot of this was not surprising - except for the following:

"4. Your Wrinkles Disappear Immediately
Here's one we actually like. Since your muscles lose all tension the moment you die, they stop pulling on your forehead, creating those worry lines you hate so much, says Jorgenson. Essentially, it's the same reason Botox works. If you're really old, saggy skin may still be an issue, but at least your forehead won't be scrunched."

It makes sense from a physiological point of view; however, I find it fascinating and kinda ironic -- only in death does all tension (and by default stress, which I have wayyyy too much of) truly evaporate.

I actually find things like this to be interesting. The human body is certainly weird and quite disgusting but at least when you are dead you wont be able to experience anything.
