• Hey Guest,

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Important info for all who want to use the inert gas method with diving equipment.

I have found out that the connection threads on gas cylinders are different in many countries. Also some gas cylinders have an internal thread, instead of an external thread.

The same applies to the regulator. In Europe, the pressure reducer of the 1. stage of the regulator has a different connection (DIN) than in the international version (INT).

This means that also the adapter you need to connect the regulator to the cylinder is different. This information is to make sure you don't order the wrong things.

Thank you for posting this information. It's true. I found out on my own while I was trying to figure out what I needed. I was going to PM you, actually.
Hope this post clarifies this particular method because it's not that simple.
Thank you

It´s simple when you buy the right equipment. Basically it´s like diving. All you have to do is replace the oxygen cylinder with a helium or nitrogen cylinder by using the right adapter.

If you need a guide, send me a PM.

Yes, it's simple when you buy the right equipment.
What is difficult, is to find and get the right equipment, since it can vary from country to country and not everything may be available.
But I'm determined to get it right.

Thank you
