Help In case of a Welfare check (UK-SN)

What kind of questions do they ask? What are good enough responses. Will they ask where I got it from? What if I tell them I don't remember or if i straight up say I don't want to tell them. Can I say I just wanted to cure meat. Will they force me to hand it over to them even if i say no. Can they search for it? Will my recent attempt in november give them reason to detain me.

i'm also curious about possible travel. i live here currently. I plan to CTB. having my SN makes me feel more comfortable knowing i have the opportunity to use it whenever. i could be moving to Ireland. but i want to keep it. what are the risks..

First hand lemme tell you I had this happen to me - any sort of mh record your fucked - I got sectioned
Don't try to import sn anymore if you're in the UK it's not worth it

Yh but the police literally lied and said they were arresting me and put me in the back of the police car with my mum and went to the local police station and dropped off their female colleague and (probably to write paperwork - it was close to their shift finishing) then dropped me at the hospital so I was confused when the triage nurse asked what do I need help with - keep in mind atp the one of the 2 officers is still with me and I asked can I leave and they both stayed silent and then I asked what would happen if I left and then they put me a section 136 (they can do that if you're in public only) and then they did the assessment and sectioned me it was the same doctor who sectioned me last time - and the male police officer was being so aggressive for no reason and I was covered in bruises it wasn't even like I was running out of the hospital I walked out - yh so don't buy sn if you're importing it - I also have a official letter from the police saying they can get a search warrant and arrest me if I try to import sn it's a specific law you break ig when you import it
Oh yh if I didn't mention it was border patrol that warned the police since they're literally seizing everything without proper documentation - since it's costing them close to nothing to do since they couldn't get ss taken down as a whole
People without a mh history in the uk are still being able to get sn and keep it but they usually are getting welfare checks from the police but they're easily able to talk their way out of it

i've never heard this happening before thanks for sharing your story. i'm sorry this happened to you:( it's stories like this im looking for because some people on here have said they've been able to keep it during a welfare check but i have an awful feeling i wont be so lucky so im thinking of ways to protect myself if things go wrong. they were very sneaky taking you out of the house to threaten a section because it's easier to do when you're in a public place. it might have been different if you were able to stay at home?
i'm not too sure because i feel like they can just come up with reasons to get you to comply…

He asked me if I had ordered anymore and I fully confessed and said I had 500g, and he didn't do anything. 3 days later, I took the SN.

I took the SN as in 3 days I injested it. The police came around on the 13th, and on the 16th, I took it.

Honestly can't remember much. I took 7g. I threw up, but there was no pain. I'm fine now, I am completely recovered. Some memory issues, but I got lucky that I didn't get really brain damaged

That's wild ! Do they cross reference address details with mental health lists.

I'm pretty sure they just search your name up in the system I think and mh history comes up and if you have any diagnoses - even last time I was having an ongoing autism assessment and the police mentioned it to me so yes it's kinda hard to lie likely they won't believe you because they've already created a bias against you after reading whatever information there is about you on the system

how it's not usually easy to access mh and medical history unless there's been police involvement in the past?
also is it possible to just split up the SN so if they ask for it i can still keep some

Great. I'm so fucked. I should have kept my mouth shut but basically an ex friend called the police on me for a welfare check this past weekend. I've been sectioned 3 times in the past. No way I'm getting my SN. I just checked and it's been stuck at customs since Thursday, it's not even in the uk customs yet.

making this post lol. i just need some ideas but so far ive gathered that i will likely get a welfare check. worst case scenario in the UK they will insist on me handing it over so im planning to just give away some (i need to make sure the rest is able to keep without original packaging). And insist that i no longer have any intention and have not taken any. i'll just comply if they advise my follow up. and not leave my house if they ask me to go somewhere else:/

yeah i've seen some people advise that too but what worries me is im already known to the mh services for a previous attempt. i feel like in my circumstances it might be helpful to just say i got it before but changed my mind and i dont remember where i got it idk

Police haven't simply got access to medical records as the other user suggests. The other comment is obviously excluding some important information because simply a MH record isn't going to cause that.

What's key is what you say to the police. Most of the time they are uninformed with no idea what they have actually been called out for. If you tell them that you have no idea, or that you didn't order it, they physically can't do anything. SN is legal to Possess. I've personally had a welfare check, they asked pointless questions and left in a few minutes.

The other user must have said something completely stupid which made them appear to be an immediate threat to themselves or others, and in turn get sectioned.
