I'm so frustrated with myself

I made a "deadline" in 2019 that if things were not better by new year's eve I would kill myself. I had a couple of good weeks in December and when that deadline rolled around yesterday I decided to break it and hold off. Well it's the first day of 2020 and I had a really bad night. What a way to start off this year. I should have taken that deadline and I don't know why I thought a few good weeks would make all my pain end.

The first day of the year doesn't decide what the other days of the year will be like. Take a couple of weeks to think it through. You're option of ending it on your own terms won't disappear in the meantime.
