I'm convinced that when I die I'm just going to come back here.

And it's going to suck lol. Firmly convinced that I am just part of the universe, and that my qualia, my subjectivity, is part of it also, and that the universe oscillates.

I don't think it's even spiritual reincarnation ala Hinduism or anything. I firmly believe it's just universal recurrence. I think the universe is a closed system that repeats endlessly.
Only one way to find out, lol.

I am, actually, convinced that this is what it is. Which could be very cool for me actually- I was a very happy boy up until my father committed suicide, aged six.
If what I'm saying is true, the odds are strong that, on the next iteration, he won't kill himself; that was basically a freak event that turned me into a massively antisocial sociopath. I was extremely happy as a small child. I think, if he lives, I will become an extremely happy young adult also.
I am totally down with rolling the dice on this being the case.

If it's true though, it basically means that the universe is a forgiveness engine- that you'll always have the chance to "get it right". I fucked up too much too young this time, but a "me" stripped of my problems will exist again and again forever and ever.

I personally do not believe in reincarnation or hell or heaven.
Death is final and irreversible. We came from the void. Into the void we go back again.
Millenia of human existence has happened before us today. I do not feel any connection to the past. I am just a biological growth from a sperm and egg meeting.
I came from the void, and back into the void I'll go.

If you're an asocial sociopath, then it stands to reason that perhaps you don't even believe any of this and you're relieving your anhedonia by posting a provocative theory to get people stirred up.

The universe dies. Your qualia is definitely a part of the universe, but even if you keep coming back (you won't), you're gonna die along with the heat death of the universe.
But don't worry, buddy. You Only Live Once, thank god.

Given sufficient time after the heat death of the universe, maximum entropy will have been reached. Once this occurs, there is a non-zero possibility that entropy will reverse.
Yes I've heard of that. But honestly, those are just theories among many others. My personal belief is based on science, our brain is just a so developed piece of flesh. This complexity allows us to learn and think, develop theories and imagine an infinity of things. But the facts are here, your brain needs oxygen and nutriments like every organ, cut this supply or destroy the organ and everything will stop.
Some people, in near death experiences have had visions of god, angels or sensation of floating around. I have had the same kind of visions when I experienced a near fatal car wreckage a few years ago. I questioned various sources, and the most sensible information I could get is that when neurons die, they emit various kinds of chemical messages to the nearest neuron. This cause a sort of brain "short circuit" that may cause hallucination, like when you are on drugs.

Thermodynamics postulates that entropy can not be reversed. To say there is a non-zero possibility that entropy will reverse is profoundly absurd. It is equal to me saying there is a non-zero chance monkeys will fly out of my ass.

The Second Law of Thermodynamics only applies under high entropy systems. Entropy declines the closer we get to the heat death of the universe, as we reach a point of maximum entropy.
You will come back and find yourself being shoved out of a woman into the world again after you die. Over and over. The only hope to stop this cycle of birth and death is to give up any attachments you have to anything. If you love music give it up. Food? Give it up. Family? Forget them. Look at whatever you like about this world and give it up totally.

Thermodynamics is an inherent part of reality. Thermodynamics applies to everything. Thermodynamics applies forever - it never stops applying. Entropy never "declines". Entropy can "decrease", but that applies only to a "system". Entropy of the universe is continuously increasing and can never decrease, or decline, and it cannot reverse.
Bro are you just trolling?

We create our own reality in this world and after death and our likes and dislikes make up that reality. Do you love music and crave it? Back you come to be born into a new body. Yikes.
If you don't remember what happened in this life, isn't it functionally a "new" life even if you do the exact same things? I mean, that is an existential hell but at least it won't stack maybe?

This is a mangling of the Second Law of Thermodynamics. Once maximum entropy is achieved, the universe will enter a low-entropic state of near equilibrium. This is the state in which Boltmann brains, universes, etc. become plausible.

Eternal Recurrence is truly my worst nightmare and the scary thing is is that it's actually plausible. Lately I've been having a severe existential crisis because of this because it is far too late for me to change course with this information. I cannot cope with this hell!
It's worse than reincarnation. You come back into the exact same world as you and end up having all of the exact same thoughts and doing all of the exact same things. Repeatedly. Over and over and over and over and over... ad infinitum. There would be no escape, not even in death.
