Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

That's really great that they're letting you keep a connection to the outside world!! When I got put on a 51-50 as a teenager we were treated like jailbirds, ignored, made to be in cages, just a horrible overall experience. I'm so glad to hear that it sounds like your place is better than the shitshow I went through lol. I'm really hoping this works out for you and that you come out on the other side feeling better, healthier, and safer than you do now!

I'm sorry you're there, but I'm glad they are letting you keep your phone. A friend of mine was hospitalized for severe anxiety. They wouldn't let him keep his phone. He doesn't speak of his experience, so I don't know what is was like for him. I hope this time passes quickly for you.
Some places still do that though.
