  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Don't know where to post this but it's a thing I always had.
It's like I'm super absent minded to the things in the material world. That's why it was impossible for me to work as a waitress. Not only I forgot what I had to do, orders, where were the tables and who ordered what, in like few seconds. I got called distracted once in another job but I don't think mine is distraction. But even when I'm focused, it's like I can ignore what is going on around me and I make these clumsy stupid mistakes. I'm very wise as a person, I'm intuitive, I dont have disabilities, and yet when it's about material things I'm not practical or I do things one way, and then someone else makes me realize that there was a better, more practical and fastest way to do the thing.
I'm not grounded at all tho, for example I was with friends playing D&D and in the end we had to put things on the table away (like pens etc) and I got into this unfocused state where I ignored my surroundings, even tho I was aware there were things on the table, but I was not so fast to put them away. I wasn't even thinking about things, I just was into this mental state.
It's even very difficult to explain. it's like I get into this mental state but I'm not dissociated.
I wasn't able to survive working as a waitress bc I forgot orders I took, I didn't rember what I had to do and in what order, orders from the people and so on.
I had a realization that it could be something related to adhd or add?
I'm not sure.

Also I want to add, I prefer to work and do things with a voice talking under, for example I read something online and I listen to storytimes even if after a while I dont focus on what they ar saying bc Im doing other things. But it helps me work

That's pretty absentminded! Must be hard to cope like that, especially with work. the voice stuff is interesting. Have you considered a professional opinion?
I can either be very focused or good at multi tasking depending on the need, but when I'm one way, that's the zone I'm utterly in. If I'm focused I'm obsessive and if I'm multi tasking them I miss specifics.
My memory is also not great unless I focus. So life is endless lists for me. My idea of flying by the seat of my pants these days is not making a list. Six months of less than one hours sleep a night didn't help.

I could ask my psychiatrist but the thing is I dont know how to explain all of this. I cant put into words. My thought is could be adhd related but I can focus well, when someone talks I follow them and talk without distractions, I can listen to stories, I can stay focused. The only thing is this state of mind that is absent minded, when Im doing a task I always have to think abt it or Ill forget.
At work if I have multiple tasks its like I lose myself.

It sounds like you get bored and lose focus, but to an extreme. I've never encountered that. Maybe you could write all this down, then distill it into a few points to keep it simple, then present those to your psych?
