How was the man in black able to fall like he did? He didn't flail at all like the others, and yet during the whole documentary you see him pacing the bridge as a nervous wreck.

Maybe he had a panic attack that made him unable to move? That's all I can think of sorry

He looked calm as he fell, not stiff.

Building up the courage on the walking, then it was just fuck it and go. Gene was an inspiration to all jumpers. My friend who jumped watched him a lot and went roughly the same way

I liked how the family members of the deceased were dignified and respectful of their choice, literally all of them. I wish the fuxers would follow their example.

The friends of the man in black are scum. You should rewatch their interviews.

He was iconic a true inspiration to those partial to dying on their own terms.

He did have quite the dignified death, having tried to work up the courage to jump off my local bridge, to no avail. I'm quite jealous of his rock-hard balls, especially to just slowly lean back like he did (if my memory serves me correctly). Definitely an amazing documentary!

He was the quintessential "an hero"

He placed his hands on his chest as he fell. It's a self comfort while the others flailed madly.

Amazing documentary to watch . It was fascinating to see how he jumped. It takes some nerve to do that.

They should've shown more jumpers. I need more people to identify with in my final moments
