For everyone else out there who has ever had or is having traumatic holidays...

Going outside
Shoveling snow in the driveway, driveway
Taking our shoes
Riding a sled down the hillside, hillside

Our father yells
Throwing the gifts in the wood stove, wood stove
My sister runs away

The November day I came home
The Xmas decorations were already up
Spray-on snow, colored flashing lights
And an artificial tree that played Silent Night
Over and over and over again
My parents welcomed me with loving arms
But within an hour were back at each other's throats
Normal, happy childhood back on course
Batteries not included
