• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

if a loved one came back to life, if all the pain suddenly went away, if a certain situation just didn't happen, etc. would that be enough to keep you alive, or would your desire to die remain beneath it all?

this may be a dumb question to ask, but i've been thinking about it for a while. i'm curious about everyone's answers depending on their situations. does the meaning of reason run deeper than it seems? my perspective is pretty biased because of my own motive, so i'd like to learn if anyone is willing to share.

In my opinion it really depends it's hard to say for sure yk, I've been suicidal for as long as I remember with no support at all, reason why I say depends is that well you dk what your life is gonna be like right but at the same time I just wanna go so it really depends and I stand by that

I really just think nihilists would say no to this question when one truly thinks about it~

At first, I was thinking of just getting to be a mother with enough resources to care for my kids~ Then, I realized you said everything mi_ba_~ so I was thinking of becoming a queen to becoming the queen of the world to becoming a god to becoming one with God~ hey, maybe I could even be a little kid again forever~ hehe~ :(((

alas, one has to survive this world to make it to Heaven~ here's hoping we make it [well, those of you who want to~ hehe~]~ :)

Yes. I think life can be very meaningful and joyful in the right circumstances. I just don't believe I have the tools to create those circumstances...

I would at least try again, but I'm not sure if i find my current life unpleasent or existence itself, maybe if i had the right tools to get better i would, but most likely i would spiral again no matter the resources.
So no, i don't think so, i just want to leave

Even in this hypothetical scenario I'd still want to die by my own hand, because I don't want to live till very old age when my health and cognitive ability significantly decline, and consequently I become a liability to someone. It's inevitable for all of us, and this is what I view as a nightmare scenario to be stuck in even when you're rich, successful and well off in every way imaginable.
Add on top that this ideal hypothetical will never come true to begin with, so CTB is, ironically, a "life-saving" positive scenario to escape what I personally view as hell on Earth.
