Deep South USA is so strange to me bc everyone makes up this lie that "southern hospitality" is a thing when it isn't. I'd way rather live up north like New England where it's safer and cleaner. I think the Norway sounds nice too. People are way nicer aren't they? Florida is like a boomer nightmare. Only people who like Florida are people who party or people who can't drive and talk about shooting people. My mom's friend said guys in her neighborhood were stocking up on guns to kill people if there was some kind of apocalypse scenario. That's so Florida but like I don't want to live around such a low trust society where people are waiting for the end of the world so they can kill people… I wish my mom never moved here but she's old so she's with her age bracket. It's miserable for me! I hate everyone here lol.
I wish I could so I don't relate to knowing folks stocking up on guns. I can't. I know multiple men, young and old, who stock up on guns and military equipment with no end in sight.

And yeah, these guys seem very eager to show off the collection if/when shit hits the fan. They long so badly to be the big man on campus.

The culture here is diseased. I really don't know how else to describe it.

If I could choose where I was born, I would choose Norway. Emigrating there will be very difficult, and I don't know if it would be a good idea for me. Social connection is so important for one's well-being, and I am bad at it enough in my native tongue. If I could speak perfect Norsk, I'd leave in a heartbeat.

When I visited Oslo briefly as a student, I was shocked at how courteous and orderly people were there. I didn't actually get to do anything fun like I had planned. I was far too exhausted to do anything but walk back and forth between the conference and my hotel room due to my schoolwork, but I was really impressed by what I saw. The more I learn about the country and its government, the more interested I become.

The climate also appeals. I hate it here in FL, and I know I can handle winter from living elsewhere in *cough*better*cough* other states.

If you're from Norway, please feel free to burst my bubble, lol. This is just a fun little thread to daydream.
i'd love californa, from what ive heard tho I would need to be very rich. but the beach and the trees look stunning and people are so much more friednly and accepting

Norway is beautifully stunning btw, the northen lights are one of the universes magical wonders. people are lovley as well I wonder if becuase it can get freeeezing freezing out there theyve had to huddel together and form a stronger community

Rent free in your head.

If money is no issue, Iceland.
Otherwise, I'm happy with my country.

I've always admired the cities of the Netherlands and the small comfy villages of Switzerland. It would be one of those countries
