What do you exactly mean? That we all have a fate and can't change it?
I don't get the "guilt" part but I certainly feel no guilty at all. I'm kinda "happy" with my decision to CTB because I'll finally leave this unfair world.
But you're right, some things just happen and the guilt is inevitable!

We have no control over who we love, and who leaves us, betrays us, destroys us. I feel the guilt, the shame, the relentless pain, I forced their hand to leave me. Too many times I caused damage, not enough strength to change my ways before it was too late. We're not all destined for the white picket fence, for stability, for love.
