the forum isn't pro-suicide they're pro-choice. huge difference. and if you're able to find those methods then you're clearly able to find other resources. it's not gatekeeping, it's opsec.

when I first came to this site the mega thread of suicide methods was literally on the front page, and it had pretty brutal description of methods like decapitating yourself with a car and other stuff.. I wasn't even looking for those methods too, I was just doing shallow browsing

On the other hand it took me forever to find dmc, and I was constantly begging in dms. its super gatekept and the gatekeeping does not make sense. SN is a perfect , peaceful method and it should be 10x more shared and encouraged then some of these other methods I am seeing

Completely agree. There is too much mystery here for details and help. This shit can EASILY be done via DMs. Much of this reluctance is because people are posing and actually have no idea, no contact, etc
