I knew this song before I knew about SS or ASH or the related terminology, and I always found the idea of "taking the bus" out of life to be well-put. Ever since I found out about these communities and the use of "catch the bus" to mean suicide, I've been wondering if the artist knew about it when writing this. If anyone knows whether ASH has had an influence on (internet) culture in Japan, I'd be interested to hear about it! It's the only way this song could be a reference instead of a coincidence.
