I don't mean it as a joke. Right now I'm barely capable of taking care of my basic needs without having a mental breakdown. And I have absolutely no motivation to participate in this shit show we call capitalism. I would be motivated to work if I actually got the pay I deserve. Average pay in my country is like 6 dollars per hour. It takes a lot of time and effort to even get an interview and most jobs are terrible and stressful. If I ever get to the point that I will have to find a job to survive, I will see it as a sign to finally hang myself.

I think this is happening everywhere around the world. My friends who decided to set off to other countries to study and work are complaining about the job market being absolute shite too.

One is in Canada. He's going back soon. The other is in Netherlands, still fighting. Right now, I'm starting to lose hope on my job hunting journey.

I've been declined and/or ghosted god knows how many times BUT I did find friends while I went to interviews and right now we're forming a group to find jobs. Any job at all as long as there's a guarantee of a salary (preferably minimum wage).

I hope that you get to come across some people to during interviews. If you're fatigued from all the job hunting, you can always stop for a week and just wait for all fo those applications you've filled and uploaded. I do the same. This shit got hella draining.

All of my friends are employed and I'm just... this.

It's even worse when some of your "colleagues" are real life bullies that happened to work with you. In my workplace, things got so bad I almost got into a fistfight and I'm a very very peaceful and tolerable person.

Currently waiting to go into work and the anxiety just thinking about is killing me. I want to call in, I want to quit, I want to ctb just so I don't have to go in.

I have aspergers too and I can't even work sober... When I worked I was zonked out on opiates and benzos. Looking back this was pretty much enjoyable, I always had enough money for drugs because I had a job and the job didn't bother me because I was always high lol.

As a neurodivergent person you have to be creative.

People nowadays (especially ones in my country North Macedonia) are so mean that no amount of benzos or opioids will help you. Imagine people in their 30s and 40s behaving like high school bullies. That's how my colleagues behaved towards me.

People would think it's just being a deadbeat but I legit can't even bring myself to play a video game without negotiating with my brain all day long let alone work long hours like a slave for peanuts. im graduating in like 2 months and coupled with the fact ive got bigger fish to fry regarding my personal life i dont think ill last much.

i have a FT job and worked 3 jobs before this and don't blame you, the amount of lying and bs (plus hundreds of applications, especially for entry level) u have to do to get a job, then when ur at a job u have to do more lying and bs to not be hated and bullied. and even then, i'm genuinely too braindead and stupid to work without pissing everyone off 24/7 no matter how much effort i put in or how sober i am. like i fuck up basic maths/instructions or have to spend a lot of time rechecking things stupid. everyone expects you to have a life outside of your job that they envy but i just want to sleep 24/7 and do nothing. my family are like "just go on a holiday to europe!1!" or lament about how carefree their 20s were and it pisses me off, i can't afford to just fuck off to another country for a month or work part time while partying, and i can't live at my parents house until i'm 31, i'm on my own.

i think it's dumb we don't provide other monetised ways to give back to the community, i volunteer and i find it alright but for people who can't fit the shitty demands of capitalism, its stupid we expect them to work in the way of volunteering with zero money or care provided to them. i read this news article about a guy with disability who volunteered FT hours to a british council and they still didn't give him a job. heres the article: https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/2185876/disabled-man-fired-council-dream and other things too like if you go to any "undesirable" job site there's a lot of migrants or they are underpaid and ppl don't think abt that when we rely on this workforce for aged care, running prisons, factories etc.
