So, you don't really want sex (according to the other comment you posted) but some affection. That's different.
You could try to find someone but you gotta be mentally prepared. It's not that easy when we're dealing with depression, suicidal thoughts, etc.

All I can say is to wait until sex robots become a thing and save up for one of those because an escort or prostitute won't give you what you're looking for. Agreed. If you thought being a loner virgin at 22 was bad, 27 is an absolute nightmare. Everything reminds me of the inadequacy I suffer and every victory feels hollow because it just circles back to "well you're a virgin at 27 and that fact alone will make people even less likely to love you."
