Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

On 2025-12-02 Wed I had pain in my abdomen, so I went to the gen doctor at 5am. He said for me to do some exams if it persisted, but that I could go to the wagie job interview (60km away). So, even though I had pain, I got to the medium-sized company for the job ("technical analyst") interview at 8:30am, and some 4 other people were there for the same position. Well then, my experience/qualifications are way more than the job requirements announcement, that's probably why I got the call anyway.

So, the company owner called me for the interview, and it began... He asked me a ton of things... well it seemed like it was just instructing code to some manufacturing machines and analyzing if it was operating correctly. I said I could do it pretty well given my past experiences. However, due to being a long time unemployed due to my health condition(s), and living far away, I can only guess they will not call me back.

I did withstand all the pain during the interview, had to spend a good amount of money to get there and come back, and I returned home with even more pain. Saturday I had to go to emergency healthcare due to acute pain.

I TRIED, EVEN THOUGH CLOSE PEOPLE TO ME SAY FOR ME TO NOT DO IT. You can't say I didn't try. You can't say I'm a chronic pain NEET because I'm not even trying. I'M TRYING EVERYTHING THAT'S IN MY REACH.

I'm traumatized. Really. From all the pain I've felt. From all the suffering. From all the unethical attitudes of healthcare towards me. From everything.

Fellow chronic pain casualty here. You're doing your best. NEET is such an uncaring term, but I'd say it's reserved for those who are complacent in their situation. Who would rather slack off than try in this world. And you, my friend, are trying very very hard.

It's the system that's broken, you're already bending backwards to try and survive in it. That's really commendable. Best of luck, I hope you get a callback and some strong painkillers.
