I was assaulted by a coworker

I found out that one of my coworkers told the offending coworker a story that involved me.

I come back to the warehouse area, not having said a word to anyone.

Offending coworker approaches me while I'm at a metal cabinet. He states, "Excuse me, you're in my way." Then he slams the door into me and walks off.

And I'm confident nothing will happen.

Yes, there is more to this story, but I can't think right now. I've never had someone get physical with me before and I'm astonished he had the nerve.

I've been assaulted by clients plenty of times, but never by a peer.

I would easily report it, and I wish you luck in doing so. I have a co-worker who doesn't treat me right and I reported him. Nothing fucking came of it unfortunately... I had enough of his shit one day and gave him the finger and one of my managers saw it... she was confused because I've always been quiet and never really bothered by anything. But I fucking finally snapped one day. She asked me why tf I did that, and I told her everything. From the iron crosses on his car, that are there to "protect the paint" to the racist shit he's said about customers who tipped him like shit, to how he treats me and other co-workers. He still somehow is employed there. You're probably wondering "why don't you just quit?" Well I can't find another fucking job, because the job market is ass, and I need the money to make rent. He still gets on my nerves to this day (but not as bad as before). BUT I STILL WANT TO PUNCH HIS STUPID FACE SO BAD!!!!!!!

Edit: when I see him my day is automatically ruined, and they have our work schedules constantly lining up. All my co-workers and managers know he gets on my nerves. Its almost like they want me to quit. Which I'm tempted to do some days tbh

now me personally I wouldn't have let that shit slide, next time you see him bump into him and if he wants to make a big mess of things let him act first and whoop his fucking ass, or gouge his eyes out no one expects that. It never worked for me when I tried it. My fingers went up the kids nose lol. (only if you care enough about it and you're a sadist)


BUT yeah nothing is going to happen buddy, just keep getting your money and set some of it aside for your copes.

I know exactly what to say to upper management to, um, make them take me a little more seriously. I just am sick and tired of being put in situations like this.

Got cornered once too (though not nearly as bad), also by a customer, and left for my own safety. And everyone blamed me and ignored the guy. He even said, with my higher ups standing right next to me "Go on, go seek help, it won't save you." THEY HEARD IT AND COMPLETELY IGNORED IT. Society protects perpetrators. I left that shithole of a place behind.
