I have struggled with suicidal ideation for almost two decades, and have missed the bus several times.. I'm getting really dark lately... I've been giving away personal possessions and fantasizing about death daily.. I just want to disappear and never been seen again... I have been living solely due to promises I made to others which feels unfair to me... I need ideas for places where my body will never be found so no one ever knows what happened to me.. I don't need help with methods, I know we cannot discuss them. I just need help with locations where I will never be found.

I can really relate to how you feel. I have also given away all my possessions besides the bare essentials. I think about death constantly. At least once every hour. It would be ideal to simply disappear and vanish but I think in real life it is really hard to pull off. Somewhere secluded is key. You need to know how to navigate these kinds of terrains and actually find a way to get there.
I have toyed around with the idea of going off the trail in a national park or hiking mountain. But you would have to go in pretty deep to never be found. Plus once they find your car abandoned I think they could figure out what happened even if they never recover the body.

Also a good location but harder to turn into fruition. Obviously can't go into details...
I plan on taking a bus or train to the location and paying in cash. maybe an Uber with someone else's credit card info once I arrive.

It's a shame we can't go into details on methods anymore, but I live within view of the ocean and it wouldn't be hard for me to disappear in the water and never be found.

Hrmm that is very clever. It was always a fantasy of mine to ctb somewhere secluded but I guess I never really thought it through. You know there are tons of people who go missing each year never to be found again. I am not so sure if all of these are from a crime or random accident. There has to be a ton of unaccounted suicides. I wonder what the true rate of suicide is and how many people want to die but never make an attempt.

Your body will most probably be found some time or another, so the question is whether you wish to hide in order to ensure that your method will work all the way through, without any chance of resuscitation - or whether you just wish to vanish and for no one to be able to find you, ever.
I would guess that the latter is impossible, but you could ride a bus or train into the middle of nowhere and then walk a long stretch into the woods, for example, because nearly no one will look for you there.Last edited:Similar threads
