• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Well, everything is possible but, what about wearing a lot of trousers and whatever kind of armour for your legs you can find?
They might bite you anyway but it'll hurt less and you're hanging yourself a bit later anyway.

Maybe there is some other way for you? Or do you have some heavy boots? I love snakes and most are not poisonous or dangerous. If you wave your arms at them over your head they leave.

I agree with the others here, wear heavy boots, and wave your arms. I was raisied around timber rattlesnakes, I never was afraid of them BUT I respected them. I had alot of encounters with them and all they ever wanted to do is get away from me. Of course if I seemed threating they would coil, but i went one way and so did the snake and we continued living. Over all heavy boots if needed and you will be fine. Most snakes are non poisonous. Love and peace to you. You are such a nice and caring person, LOVE IT!

Unless you're in Australia I doubt forest snakes will give you too much trouble. They don't really want to encounter you.

Where do you live? Are there many snakes around and can any actually hurt you?

I live in Brazil. Yes, I guess there are plenty of snakes around here.

I doubt you'll run into any snakes in the forest, but that really depends on your area. If snakes are a big problem where you live, there's really not much you can do to prevent yourself from seeing snakes.
Wild snakes generally don't desire to be around humans. They'll probably slither away from you, or ignore you completely, as long as you do the same. You're huge and scary to them.
Be sure to wear boots to protect yourself from any potential snake bites.
