I'm sure that was a tough decision to make. But for some it's best not to have it around to tempt you. It should remain relatively easy to obtain for a little while.

Now you need to find something to keep you busy so it's not on your mind. Congratulations on taking the first steps to recovery! I hope things go well for you and that you're able to continue this path.

Wow that's great! Even though I have been trying to recover and avoid ctb, I still haven't disposed of mine. Even though you're right that you could buy more, it's a great step to take and it means you won't do something impulsive if you're angry/upset in the near future. Genuinely very proud of you! When things are really rough in life and it seems impossible, sometimes it takes actually being on the edge to actually figure the way out. I envy you—congrats man.
