Help Another SN in EU question…

I know this is question 648274 about ordering and receiving SN. But where I was scared at first, I am considering it more and more and actually finding peace with the idea. The only thing still holding me back is authorities. I have my resources within EU, think I can make it through customs, but would like to know what happens if it doesn't. Do they just keep your package? Or could it lead to any other consequences? As soon as it arrives in my country I think I'll be fine.

In at least one country I know of it's actually not legal to buy/own SN as private person without the right papers and then they would indeed keep the package and there's a chance you'll get fined. If this applies to your country you'd have to find out yourself. There's usually basically no border checks/package inspections between EU countries so the chance that it would get found is very low to begin with, but it is not zero. Nobody will be able to tell you how customs decides to check a package. The most likely outcome if you're in such a country, especially if this is your first contact with customs and the amount of SN is low is that they'll keep and destroy the package, you might have to pay for the destruction and there will be no consequences beyond that.

You might or might not get a welfare check, going from annecdotes on this forum that's also dependends on your country it seems, it seems far less likely than in the UK though. Although it needs to be mentioned that the UK authorities especially have this website in their crosshairs so some reports of welfare checks and customs seizures might be planted on here and fake.
