I think my cat can read my mind

Since I have my beloved cat I think she can read my thoughts. . .

Every time I had bad thoughts she came to me and wanted me to pet her. . .

Also, whenever I did self harm she would bang her head on my hand and keep the blade off my arm. . .

I get really scared but at the same time I love my cat with this thought more than I usually love her.

Yeah the standoffish stray in my area jumped on my lap and sat there the whole day everyday during the worst time of my life. Usually never gets close to pple. When I was a kid my family mentioned throwing the cat out during dinner and she never let anyone except me touch her again.
