Discussion I think I'm scared to die, yet I don't want to live.

Does anyone relate to this? Like, I don't want to live, but for some reason I'm scared of dying/scared that I'm going to die? I only have this feeling when I think about dying when it's not in my control, like getting hit by a bus (the irony) or something like that. Am I the only one in this?

I know that feeling, @Ratherbeskinny. I reckon it's our bodies' responding to ancient orders to survive no matter what our minds/feelings want. (((Hug)))

hei @Ratherbeskinny, I think @Soul is right. That does sound like a form of self preservation kicking in. Humans are pretty hardwired to avoid or minimize physical injury. I think that's why it is for most people easier to choose a peaceful method of death rather than a violent one.
