i think i'll hold off ctb for a while

my father's near the age of dying based on my instincts (i think he has a decade or less left). i don't want him to die of grief if i pass away before him. it'll just remind him of how he's the only one left in his original family. i'll try my best to hold on a little longer. i feel really bad also because he recently started playing a few casual multiplayer games (like animal crossing) because of me and he wants to make up for the lost time he couldn't spend with me when i was younger because he had to work in another country for quite a while.

I know that it can be hard to carry on when you are suffering, and I'm sorry that you are in this difficult situation. I wish you the best in whatever you decide to do.

I am the same here. My mum is a cancer survivor and I am forever worried about whether it will come back or not, but while she is still around, I am trying very much to hold on, though she knows of my CTB thoughts.
