Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I've been feeling like literal shit and have a horrible cough, fever and shortness of breath, body aches etc. It's tough to function especially since I'm severely iron deficient and on opiates, so I just stumble around and cough constantly. I got tested but still waiting for results. I had to go back to get my methadone daily this past month so I got exposed more.

Anyway so I had severe shortness of breath today... it was so awful and painful and scary because you just don't know how much worse and painful it's gonna get. It's like a threshold I have with painful feelings, but the good thing was that the feeling of possible hypoxia was soothing, it felt like I was going to pass out and stop suffering. I am honestly so ready to die. The only thing that worried me was my hedgehog but I quickly wrote a to-do care sheet for my family.

I am terrible at containing it, it's impossible to breathe with a mask and constantly cleaning my hands, luckily I have a separate area shared with my sister but it's her and the cats and hedgehog that I'm worried about infecting. Anyone else in my position would have called an ambulance by now... but I'm waiting and trying to either die on my own or pull through at home in a comfortable place.

Anyone else have covid?

My father had COVID lately. He recovered but he said it was the most painful pneumonia he has ever had.

It doesn't sound pleasant at all. I would definitely recommend to contact the doctor! I'm sure you don't want to die feeling so much pain. Plus it's likely you will survive so it is just unnecessary suffering to be sick without medical help. If you feel very bad then do not hesitate to fetch an ambulance!

It should help a little if you sleep with another pillow so that your head, neck and shoulders are slightly elevated. Keep the house nice and warm. Steam from a hot shower/bath could help open up your airways more.
