My mother has OCD, undiagnosed. She has so many rituals and compulsions . She has many rules and regulations about food and water getting contaminated.
These many days I tolerated and followed all her instructions out of fear of upsetting her and to avoid conflict.
But today and even yesterday I did not follow, I resisted and disagreed with her.
She is upset because of this, but I am feeling a sense of power, the power to not be a pawn at her hands . The power to choose and not get dominated by her.
So happy for this small victory of mine.
