I play the sims 4 and I created a happier version of myself and my family

I know they're not real but I watch them interact with each other and get really sad. In that world I have no trauma. My parents aren't abusive and our family dog is still with us.

I wish we could just jump into our sims life for real. Id build the perfect family for yrs on sims and often played stuff like imvu just to be someone else for a sec lol. This reminds me of that movie Suicide room about a similar idea/game and I remember watching it back a few years ago just thinking "huh, me too buddy. Me too" .
or Imagine we could just log on to a game and appear inside of it, as if it was real. We could move around and interact with it. I already know what I would be doing for the rest of my life.
Sucks I cant even play good old sims rn. This post made me miss it <3

Yes I understand so well what you feel. I create a better life through the sims and play it and feel very sad wishing it could come true.
