• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    👉 View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

She opened up to me that she attempted to kill herself 3 times in the past, once landing her in the ICU for two weeks.

There is no point to this I'm just feeling very perplexed because I didn't expect it.

Some people are very good at hiding it.
Did talking with her help you?

Not sure why. But after I initially thought this was a bit assholic, I then keeled over in my boots. I can't stop laughing. You must have a weird sense of humor. :ahhha::pfff:

Sorry OP for the diversion...hopefully you felt comforted in knowing that you are not alone. The person obviously trusts you and felt confidence in sharing that with you. Maybe you now have a new unexpected confidante and deepening irl friendship. Hopefully that makes you feel a bit more normal in this awkward world where people demonize those who aren't "normal".

It's much more common than many people would like to admit but it gets swept under the carpet. Hopefully it allowed you and your friend to decompress and share those darker thoughts.

I wouldn't be surprised if not being able to talk about the urge to CTB is a major cause of it.

Sounds like you've got a true friend; her admission makes a change to the usual response of pretending nothing's been said.

I would never personally open up to anyone in real life, but at least you have someone who understands what you are going through. I wish you the best.
