Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I wasnt aware you shouldnt open the bottle until immediately before you want to attempt your CTB so i opened the bottle about a week ago. Does the clumpiness - sry if this is not the right word- indicate my SN is not effective anymore?
Not the entire bottle seems to be in clumps, but just the top half, the lower half seems fine

Under the influence of oxygen nitrite is converts into nitrate, which is no longer usable. This doesn´t happen within a few minutes. But don´t leave it open too long. It´s normal that it is slightly clumpy and slightly yellow. You should do a blood test before you use it. Just mix a few drops of blood with some SN. If it turns brown, it should be ok. Keep some blood to compare the colors.

i opened it a couple of times out of curiosity and ignorance of the fact that it could convert into nitrate, but i never left it open for more then a couple seconds each time.

Better use the search function and read guides, before you order things and use them. "a couple of times".... I think nobody except a laboratory can check how much nitrite converted into nitrate. It wont happen within seconds. Do the blood test before you use it.
