For me I don't think going at night or day would make a difference, it would be equally scary. Although in the moment, maybe things would be different.

I would have to go in the night because that is the time where I won't be disturbed by anyone.

I think going in the night might be easier but it is still scary.

I plan to go during the day, mainly because I'm afraid of waking up on the forest floor in the dark if I fail. I'm not afraid of the dark or the forest at night, but I think that would be terrifying...maybe not if I was brain damaged. I was supposed to go today but I've put it off again, I've done that for two months and the walls are closing in on me. I did go and find a more suitable spot today, which is an achievement.
