I keep wondering why people dont like me ?

I try to be polite and nice.
I brought food from my hometown for people in the office withouth wanting nothing in return.
Im nice. I compliment people with genuine things i like about them.
Im chill. I try to be funny.
But no one likes me
Really at all.
I wonder all the time whats wrong with me
Anyone else goes through something similar ?

I made a post similar like this. But this one is supposed to be more into the act of people not liking me. And not bad people getting things in life.

Is it fact that no one likes you? Or is that the way you are seeing it? I'm not saying it's true or not but are you "mind-reading" - assuming you know what other people are thinking? No I'm not stalking by the way lol

Sometimes, it's just the people you are around. Not to say there's anything wrong with either them or you but, you might just not have enough common ground to really relate to one another on. I find that my better friends are ones who like similar things. Even that we worry about similar things so, we can relate to one another.

Quite often, I've found work colleagues have families and tend to make friends with other people who have families. Sometimes, they like to keep work and friendship separate. Also, if they've worked with one another for years, things can be a bit closed off if you are newer there.

I know what you mean though. In the past, I so wanted to fit in but, didn't really. I doubt these people necessarily dislike us but maybe we're lacking something or other. I don't know but, I have experienced it too.

Do you belong to any clubs or attend evening classes or similar? I still think a shared interest is the best way to find people we may have more in common with. I've found I generally get on best with creative people because we have the same shared passion/ obsession.

Hi friend! Im pretty sure im not relevant enough for people to hate me, but theres no one that likes me ? You know ?
The only person i beliebe likes me is my boyfriend but im not even sure he will be able to deal with me much longer

It's a good question. I don't think anyone can answer for sure here, but reflecting on it is probably a good idea if you care about what's true. Because then you'll understand yourself and others better. The assumption here is you want to be liked. That's often a problem for status seeking animals like us. We like people who don't feel a need to be liked. We want to be around those people. Just imagine being around someone who really desperately needed to be liked. That person wouldn't be very fun to be around, right? While a person who truly had zero desire to be liked, they'd seem cool to us.

We're wired to want to be in a high social position. And when you try hard to get others to like you, that tells people not to like you, paradoxically.
