I just watched a video about 53 Indonesian sailors who died.

They sing an unintentional goodbye song to their loved ones weeks before it happened. Why is life so fucking cruel? All of these relatively young men most likely had their own families they loved and wanted to be with. They didn't want to die, they had a lot to live for, and yet they're all dead. And people like me, who have zero desire to live and nothing to live for linger on for years wishing every day would be the last. I can't help but feel like I wish I was one of those who died quickly and unexpectedly in life, as these men seemingly did. I can't say exactly if their deaths were quick or painless. If they drowned that's a death I would willingly accept rather than continue living. It's a tragedy when people who so desperately want to live die. Likewise, it's also a tragedy when someone lives when they are miserable and life has become a burden or a nightmare to them.

Exactly!! I always feel like I want to switch with other person who deserve more than me, so they can make their dreams come true and live worthy happy life.

I feel guilty for being useless and alive.

Yes, life is so unfair. Everything is determined by chance and luck anyway. I feel envy towards people who have died as they are now at peace.

I am just spouting random info out, but Indonesia recently had a volcanic eruption killing over 30 or so people. The pictures of the volcanic ash filled the landscape up to the roofs of the houses. Insane how powerful nature is. One of my dear friends is from Indonesia.
