Discussion i just had s genius plan to smuggle blades into the psych ward. i need tips/feedback

don't try and talk me out of this or tell me they'll find it or whatever anyway blah blah i don't care i've made up my mind on this.

but my plan is this: since im an informal patient, i'm allowed unsupervised leave. depending how long i'm allowed to go for i could go to a nearby boots and buy blades and maybe plasters. then, i also buy some releasable bag of snacks or something. i then put the blades and plasters inside that bag. i'd also maybe but another metal item as a decoy for if it sets off the metal detectors but idk if they use the detectors on stuff you bring in or just you. alternstively, i could purchase seemingly innocuous items that could be used to make a decently sharp blade.

does anyone have tips/advice on how to possibly improve this plan? maybe any ideas for other items i could buy to also use?

so far from the room i've managed to break a plastic container lid which kinda works, i also managed to unscrew a screw but unfortunately it doesnt have a sharp bit on the end but i've been working on trying to sharpen it somehow. but idk i need something to properly cut myself with these half measures can only inconsistently do cat scratches

You will be put under tight surveillance if caught, but since you're allowed to go outside why don't you book a hotel or something instead of going back to the psych ward.

In the psych ward I stayed in they did use a metal detector everytime I came back from going outside, so be careful, and they will search you and possibly strip you naked if it keeps beeping.
One of my roommates snuck a blade by putting it in her coat and left it downstairs on the hanger, and next time everyone went on a walk/some activity, she took the blade back with her, since they don't check you when everyone goes on a walk.
However I really don't recommend it as you could be put in a watch room for days, isolated from everyone besides the nurses. So yeah...
Note: if you're admitted for self harm/suicide attempt where you cut yourself, they might check for injuries and cuts, and peel off any bandaids you put on yourself. (at least they did that to me, when I was admitted for self harm)

Also every psych ward is different, this is just my experience ^^

theyve never checked me for thst, they didnt even notice the scratches i did on my arms for a few days lmao
also my idea comes from that they only search you with a metal detector but i dont think they use a metal detector on items you bring in say in a bag.i might go out and come back with a bag just to test that
fuck. just reslised a massive flaw in my plan. i don't have my id so i cant buy anything. maybe i'll work on getting that first.
