• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

People with depression just do not have as much worth as normal people. It's because we don't accomplish things or contribute to society, but they do. They simply have more value as people. It's so painful. They really think they're helping me by keeping me alive, but it's like keeping a brain dead person on life support. I'm never going to be successful. The absolute best I can hope for is to be stable, not actively harmful to others, and maybe even not in complete poverty. It's all so pathetic

i know exactly what you mean. its like they say suicide is selfish and you have so much potential, but the thing is we don't. we don't really have any potential and for us it is gonna be suffering no matter what happens. we aren't contributing enough to our surroundings to justify being worth enough to anyone or to keep staying alive. if i am suffering more than i am contributing, whats the point?

By comparison, we make them feel good.

I feel very similarly. This is one of the biggest reasons that I wish suicide was more normalized and accepted among society and we were allowed peaceful ways to exit once all other options were exhausted. The only reason we're kept around is to feed into their narcissistic empathy; they make themselves feel good by offering up empty platitudes, but have no mental concept of the amount of suffering we're going through.

On one hand they say they feel bad for our suffering. Yet, these are the same people who would spit on us if we were to become homeless due to our mental problems. How ironic. They care for nothing other than to have a canvas on which to compare themselves to and make themselves feel better about their own lives.
