This place is really an outlet for my suicidal thoughts. Everytime I have them, I come here and feel better. Its also a good place to vent from time to time. I also vent on incels.is but they can be quite condescending towards mental illness.

I just hope they dont take this site down. I could really use the info surrounding SN in the future. Its my dream to live on my own and have SN and all equipment ready so I can leave anytime I like.

When /r/sanctionedsuicide was banned, it just came back as its own website free from outside rules & regulations.

Even if people do somehow get the site taken down, the need for a space like this isn't going to go away and somebody will provide it.

this site is the only space i know where to talk about sucide without getting punished for it.

its the first time i open up with this - it would be one of the most stupid things to take such a resource down.

and therefore i think one of the places where someone can decide for him-/herself if try once again or just finally ctb.

there is absolut no good reason to take this down.

afaik its already been taken down before so they took measures to avoid that happening again. but it does show up in news every now and again (that's how i found it actually, on a youtube video from a news source talking about somebody's ctbing using info provided here) so who knows if at some point external pressure will not cause the forum administrators to be forced to close down. so far it isnt looking like it's likely to happen as long as section 230 remains

Yes, I am very glad this forum exists. It is the one place where we can talk about these topics without judgement. In other places on the internet there is too much toxic positivity.
