From my understanding SN is fine so long as kept dry and stored in a safe place. Much like sugar it only goes bad if exposed to air or moisture for too long. Meto, no idea. I assume it's similar to any other kind of medication.

How did you acquire the meto? I tried to be prescribed it but the dr was immediately suspicious

I told mine the same and he asked me what doctor prescribed that to me, I lied not expecting him to have raised suspicions and then he went and wrote a script for omeprazole

I now have sealed SN and Meto from early 2020.

And I bought antacid and Ibuprofen today.

My biggest fear is becoming a potato.

I have a lot of fear it won't work and I am left damaged for life.

This is what the SN has sealed in. It has been in the sun a bit, but I'm not sure if that would affect anything. According to this chat, air and moisture are bigger concerns.
